The unpredicatable Louis C.K. brings his funny stuff to the Pearl

Image

It’s difficult to pin down Louis C.K. His stand-up is unique in that he rarely performs the same material from tour to tour, so anyone hoping to hear his “bag of dicks” joke will likely go home disappointed. But he also happens to be the creator of television’s most unpredictable show, Louie on FX. Kissing a male cop in the deep South? Check. Showing a graphic dismemberment of a homeless man by a bus? Check.

The Details

Louis C.K.
October 29, 9 p.m.

The Pearl, 942-7777

He’s visited Joan Rivers for comedy advice, only to decide she was coming onto him and begin making out with her. Oh, and perhaps most famously, he asked an awkward favor of Dane Cook, who has actually been accused of stealing C.K.’s material in “real” life.

The point is, you never really know what road C.K. will take you down on any given day, and that alone makes a ticket to this upcoming show priceless.
