Odds are that you’ve ranted about something this week—a proposed tax, the Dow dropping hundreds of points, a new TV show, your favorite Taco Bell nacho platter getting discontinued. And odds are your rant was over as quickly as it began. Not so with Lewis Black. This guy has made a career out of ranting about everything and anything, taking it to such an extreme it’s amazing he hasn’t popped a neck vein yet. (He describes his comedy style as “being on the Titanic every single day and being the only person who knows what is going to happen.”) He’s known to most for his frequent rants on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, but he’s also been doing stand-up to packed houses for several years. And now he’s bringing his angry old man bit to the Mirage. Don’t expect him to go easy on Las Vegas.
