After Mike Tyson takes the stage for his one-man show at the MGM Grand on April 14, he’ll head to Tabu for an official afterparty. And yeah, you’re invited. Hang with the former fighter, but don’t expect him to down Jäger shots with your crew or swap war stories over beers—Tyson says he’s clean and sober. First round of Diet Cokes is on us!

Really? You missed the epic DJ name drop from Electric Daisy Carnival last week? Here’s a little taste of the EDM goodness coming your way June 8-10. To wallow in the complete list, hit lasvegasweekly.com and follow your nose: Afrojack, Aly & Fila, Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Bassnectar, Chase & Status, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Ferry Corsten, Funkagenda, Green Velvet, John Digweed, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Moby, MSTRKRFT, Richie Hawtin, Tiësto ...

Now that the EDM revolution has taken over, hip-hop lovers can find themselves relegated to back rooms or bumping and grinding to dance music tunes that don’t quite deliver the groove. Starting April 14, look to Lavo’s Stereo Saturdays for a break from house/trance/half-head-shaved sets courtesy of LA DJ Reflex from radio station Power 106. The night before, the Palazzo club launches La Freak Fridays, a night created by Party Rock mastermind Redfoo and featuring DJs like Dainjazone, Lucky Lou and kick-off DJ Homicide. Cover for both parties is $20, and local ladies get in free.
