Fun Thanks to a Glee cover, the indie pop trio’s “We Are Young” single climbed to the top of the charts—and stayed there a while, too. Check out what else they have to offer at Cosmo’s Boulevard Pool. August 16, 8 p.m., $20.

See

Vega$: The Complete Series Before James Caan ran the Montecito on NBC’s Las Vegas or Dennis Quaid played Sheriff Ralph Lamb on CBS’ upcoming Vegas, there was this 1978-81 ABC drama starring Robert Urich as private detective Dan Tanna, cruising the streets of Las Vegas in his 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Now all three seasons of the show are on DVD, with a glimpse into a bygone era of the city. Available August 14.

La Cage Aux Folles The son of a gay nightclub owner brings his fiancé and her ultra-conservative parents home to meet his dad—and his dad’s fabulous drag queen partner. Comedic, Tony-winning, musical theater gold. August 14-19, times vary, $24-$129, Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall.

Eat

Vegas StrEATs Which Vegas streets will be accessible to food trucks may be up for debate, but Vegas StrEATs will be accessible to you, as always, on the second Saturday of the month. Slidin’ Thru, Johnny McGuire’s, Sin City Wings, Pop’s on the Go and seven other mobile vendors round out the tasty bill. August 11, 6 p.m.-1 a.m., free admission, El Cortez’s Jackie Gaughan Plaza.
