International Beer Festival at Sunset Station The Henderson hotel and casino presents the official opening-night event for the HSBC Sevens World Series, offering rugby fans a variety of brews and food-truck fare. The beer selection reflects a few of the nations participating in the tournament (see: New Zealand’s Steinlager and Bass from the U.K., among others). February 10, 8 p.m., free entry.

The Weekly Fling at Ghostbar Dayclub Although Halloween is still eight months away, Ghostbar gives you the opportunity to party it up in costume every Saturday. The Weekly kicks the party up a notch at this week’s installment, supplying complimentary Absolut cocktails to partygoers while supplies last. A piñata-popping and beats by Palms resident DJs Zen Freeman and Mark Stylz complete the afternoon debauch-fest. February 11, doors at 1 p.m., $20 advance, $25 at the door, ladies free.

Stupid Cupid Singles Mixer at Silverton Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Silverton wants to set you up. So if the Roman god of love hasn’t hit you with an arrow yet, consider the off-Strip hotel’s mixer—complete with a speed-dating event. Only speed daters receive free cocktails, but everyone can get in on beer pong and karaoke. February 11, doors at 7 p.m., $5-$10.

Lingerie Masquerade Ball at Erotic Heritage Museum If all the amorous and erotic stories from this week’s Valentine’s Day-inspired feature have you, well, feeling the love, head to the Erotic Heritage Museum’s Saturday night bash. Compete in the evening’s masquerade and lingerie contests, explore the erotic photo booth and enjoy sounds by Chill Achilles and live performance art throughout the sexy soiree. February 11, 10 p.m., $10-$14.

Nelly at Haze With Nelly’s Apple Bottoms denim company exhibiting at the Magic trade show, we’re guessing the Grammy-winning rapper is here for both business and pleasure. He performs at the Aria nightclub Saturday night, with sounds also supplied by Haze resident DJ E-Rock. February 11, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $20 women.

Sean Kingston at RPM Ladies, the “shawty” that’s “fire burning on the dance floor” could be you this weekend! The rapper and singer celebrates his 22nd birthday Saturday night at the Tropicana club—and not only will Kingston be partying it up, he’ll also treat the audience to a live performance. February 11, doors at 10:30 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, locals free.

Valentine’s Day at Rhumbar Cuddle up with your significant other under the stars, as the Mirage lounge presents romantic classics (including Casablanca and Breakfast at Tiffany’s) on its patio, complemented by V-Day treats and seasonal specialty cocktails. February 14, 8 p.m., free entry.

The Soundclash at Lavo Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco has teamed with Sky Gellatly to form DJ duo Soundclash (SNDCLSH)—and we think that’s pretty awesome. The collective launches its Lavo residency Tuesday night at a Project afterparty presented by the trade show’s official pub, Nylon. February 14, doors at 11 p.m., $20 men, $10 women, locals free.
