Carla Pellegrino’s craziest subtitles from ‘Top Chef’
Thu, Nov 15, 2012 (11:08 a.m.)
When interviewing Tom Colicchio for this week's Beef Issue, we had to ask the Top Chef chief for his impressions of Carla Pellegrino, Las Vegas' only contestant on the current 10th season of the show. He chuckled and said quietly, "She's quite the handful." Indeed, the fiery Portuguese-Italian chef—kitchen boss at Henderson's Bratalian Cantina and Town Square's Meatball Spot—has already created some buzz in only two episodes of Top Chef: Seattle.
With her frenetic, passionate style and thick accent, it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with Pellegrino. Bravo TV has decided to subtitle many of her quirky Carla-isms, only adding to the hilarity. Here are her best moments from last night's episode, in all their captioned glory.
