Score a Snuggie in Rhumbar’s 25 Days of Snuggies contest!

Tweet your way to the hottest gift of 2008 with Rhumbar this December. The Mirage cocktail spot’s 25 Days of Snuggies giveaway invites Twitter-savvy folks to follow @Rhumbar and respond to fill-in-the-blank holiday prompts with creative, attention-grabbing ideas to win one Snuggie every day from December 1 until Christmas.

If you’re the kind of person who reads our Cocktail of the Week column and thinks it all sounds a little too complicated, this event’s for you. On December 6, Tao hosts Milagro Mixologia, a four-course tequila and tasting dinner ($75) with dishes like hamachi “pastrami” and Chinese five-spice roasted duck matched with Milagro cocktails courtesy of brand ambassador Gaston Martinez. But this dinner is more than sipping and sampling; it’s an interactive night out where you’ll learn to re-create the signature cocktails at home. So the next time a Milagro drink graces these pages, you can smile and say, “Yeah, I got that.” Reserve your seat at taolasvegas.com.

And joining Body English and Light is the latest news of a Vegas club revival: Empire Ballroom is coming back from the dead. Or rather, the venue is being reincarnated. As Robin Leach reported last week, the one-time afterhours spot has been converted into the 19,000-square-foot Boulevard Theater for a cool pricetag of $10 million. Currently playing the venue is musical magician Tommy Wind (shows at 5 and 7 p.m. nightly) and Barbra and Frank: The Concert That Never Was (3 p.m. daily), with more bookings expected soon.
