Grand Opening Weekend at Hakkasan The ribbon has been cut, the velvet rope is up, and sexy servers are just itching to pop some bottles. After soft opening last week, Las Vegas’ latest nightlife option celebrates its official debut this weekend with a slew of sets from some of EDM’s hottest acts: Steve Aoki (Thursday), Deadmau5 (Friday), Calvin Harris (Saturday) and Laidback Luke (Sunday). April 25-28, doors at 10 p.m., $50+ men, $30+ women, local ladies free.

The Viewing at the View Palms recently opened a new lounge and recreation room 52 stories up in the hotel’s Fantasy Tower, with cocktails accompanying the billiards and board games. Check out the social space this Friday for a taste of Las Vegas’ music and art scenes, as hip-hop outfit Rhyme N Rhythm performs and local artists create new works live. Did we mention happy hour runs from 8 to 11 p.m.? That’s half off your tab, party people. April 26, 8 p.m., free, $25 after 10:30 p.m.

Will.i.am at Encore Beach Club The Grammy-winning recording artist is bringing his beats to the Encore party pool this weekend. “Scream & Shout” with the Black Eyed Pea under the sun on Saturday—just don’t request that song. Also in the booth: DJ Richard Vission. April 27, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $30 women.

Evolve and La Playa at Artisan The off-Strip boutique hotel launches two parties at its Naked Pool this weekend. Coupled up? Catch some sun at Evolve Beach Club, Artisan’s topless pool party geared toward couples, which kicks off its second season on Saturday. Everyone’s invited to La Playa, the hotel’s new salsa and Latin house bash, which opens on Sunday. Evolve: April 27, noon, $35 couples, $25 local couples, ladies free; La Playa: April 28, 11 a.m., free entry.

Say What!? at Beauty Bar Indiekrush.com presents its monthly “live music, fashion, art and culture magazine” at the Fremont East drinkery Saturday. Live bands (including pop-punk outfit Nerf Herder) play Beauty Bar’s patio out back, with DJs supplying the tunes inside. This month’s installment also includes a fashion show and live art. April 27, 10 p.m., $12 outside, free inside.

Justice at Hard Rock Hotel Do the “D.A.N.C.E.” at Rehab this Sunday, when the French electro duo takes the tables for HRH’s infamous pool party, now in its 10th season. Just remember to “stick to the B.E.A.T.,” PYTs. Destructo also spins for the Sunday bash. April 28, doors at 10 a.m., $50 men, $30 women.

W&W at Marquee The Dutch DJ duo released their debut album in 2011, and just a year later they took No. 25 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. Check out their trance beats at the Cosmo club during its Monday industry night bash. April 29, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, locals free.

Life is Beautiful Festival Downtown Las Vegas Music Showcase at Insert Coin(s) Although the Life Is Beautiful festival isn’t until October, organizers have been searching for local acts to play the fest at monthly music showcases around town. May’s edition is exclusively electronic and features Personal Touch, Phoreyz, Crykit, DJ ZO, Byra Tanks and Totescity. Show your favorite artists some support, and you just might help them score a time slot onstage this fall. May 1, 7 p.m., free.
