Though you never need an excuse to drink in Las Vegas, sipping in the name of philanthropy is certainly a good one. Enter Couture for Causes benefiting Communities in Schools of Nevada at the Arts Factory on April 28.
This family-friendly event features designer clothing, live entertainment, appetizers, activities for the kiddos and delicious cocktails for the adults. Be sure to grab a glass (or two) of the Indian Flea Market by the Cosmopolitan’s Chris Hopkins. The libation is inspired by the lassi, a traditional Indian yogurt-based beverage flavored with spices. Variations of the lassi are used for everything from nutritious breakfasts to curing ailments and even in Dharmic religious ceremonies. Hopkins’ Indian Flea Market has notes of invigorating pineapple, soothing coconut, spicy garam masala and a pop of ginger. Dare you to have one for breakfast.
