DRUMline Live Marching band isn’t boring, we promise. Especially when it involves soulful renditions of Top 40 tunes, the Drumline movie music team and colorful choreography that’s usually only found on a university football field. January 18 & 19, 7:30 p.m., $24-$59, Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall.

31st Annual MLK Parade Celebrate Dr. King’s legacy of peace and brotherhood with a Downtown parade, starting at Fourth Street and heading north to Ogden. The theme is “Living the Dream,” and being there is a good way to start. January 21, 10 a.m.

Joffrey Ballet They’ve danced at the White House and graced the cover of Time. Now, the famed Chicago dance troupe hits the Smith Center for two nights. January 22-23, 7:30 p.m., $22-$102, Reynolds Hall.

Archer The fourth season of FX’s hilarious, multi-layered animated spy parody premieres this week with a crossover with fellow animated comedy Bob’s Burgers, and only gets weirder from there. Thursdays, 10 p.m.

Ego Sum New York artist Benjamin Entner’s inflatable graphite-on-paper self portraits are witty and accessible—and larger than life. Through March 2, Contemporary Arts Center.
