The Act kicked off EDC in its own special way last week with some satire-tinged parodies of the music festival among the club’s live performances Wednesday night. Ray Romano and Brad Garrett made an appearance and even took photos with fans at the Palazzo club.

Actress Tara Reid found herself crowd surfing at Wet Republic Friday, hitching a ride on the inflatable raft that almost always accompanies resident DJ Steve Aoki’s sets. Meanwhile, at Encore Beach Club, 90210 star and new Chippendales guest host Ian Ziering was spotted fist-pumping through Diplo’s performance. Ziering’s foam fist may have been fake, but his stage-ready six-pack was very real.

Later that night, Paris Hilton made a stop at Lavo after some time at EDC, still decked out in the all-too-familiar tutu and flower headband. With her were DJs Afrojack and Dirty South, with the group partying to the sounds of Carl Cox.

From Swedish House Mafia to Swedish Chef? EDM star Steve Angello went into the kitchen at Andrea’s Saturday, unwinding after a three-hour set at EBC and taking a few culinary lessons from chef Joseph Elevado. Of course, he posted photos of the resulting dishes on his Instagram account. #foodporn

Over at LAX Saturday, Too $hort performed hits “On My Level” and “Shake That Monkey,” even covering some old Snoop and Dre material. He finished the set by pulling a lady from the crowd to rap with him. Too $hort’s set was anything but, with the rapper sticking around until 3 a.m.

Finally, it was scrap metal meets heavy metal at Hakkasan Sunday, as Deadmau5’s towering mau5bots caught the attention of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee during the producer’s visually immersive set.
