Nightlife news & notes: Chateau’s Beer Gardens open, celeb spotting and more

Just in time for those lovely spring nights, Chateau’s Beer Gardens debuted for the season last week. The open-air patio at Paris overlooking the Bellagio fountains is open Friday and Saturday, with free entry from 6 to 9 p.m. and plenty of drink specials and $5 draughts.

Rehab, how do you do it? Hard Rock Hotel’s infamous pool party celebrates its 10th season this summer and announced a partial talent lineup including Sublime with Rome at the club’s April 21 grand opening and French house duo Justice on April 28. Brace yourselves.

New deets on upcoming performers at Light: Axwell and Nicky Romero will headline the grand opening weekend, with Romero taking to the turntables with Clockwork and Andy Caldwell on April 26, while Axwell kicks off his Hook N Sling residency concept on April 27. Grand opening weekend tix go on sale today, so act quickly. A few days later, Chicago-based trio Krewella will make their Light debut on May 1, with eight performances planned for 2013.

In celebrity-spotting, Joe Mazzello of The Social Network and upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation was spotted at Tao last Thursday, sampling small plates and Tao-tinis with friends. Britney Spears was also in town, taking in One Night for One Drop at the Bellagio and staying at Caesars Palace with boyfriend David Lucado. And rapper, producer and YouTube sensation Kid Ink made an impression at LAX last Saturday, performing hits “Blackout,” “Hell & Back” and “Time of Your Life” and hopping onto the railing by his booth to get up close and personal with fans.

And lastly, it’s time to say goodbye to yet another Vegas venue. Tabú will close its doors April 6 following a final party on April 5. Sniff?
