The Breeders will play the Bunkhouse on September 15.

The Bunkhouse promised to make a big booking splash, and so far, so good. The renovated Downtown venue—set to relaunch August 25—has revealed a portion of its initial calendar: ex-Hüsker Dü man Bob Mould (September 30), indie vets The Breeders (September 15), beatmaster RJD2 (November 21) and soul singer Allen Stone (September 27).

They join opening-night headliner Built to Spill, first tipped here in May, along with several acts confirmed by tour publicists, including Leopold and His Fiction (August 27), Gardens & Villa (September 20) and Tinariwen (October 21).

Slam Dunk, The Warm Hair and locals Rusty Maples will open for Built to Spill; Mercy Music shares the bill with Mould; and Bad Rabbits and Bonavox are scheduled to support Stone.

Tickets for all shows will be available through Ticketfly.com, with tickets for Built to Spill, The Breeders, Bob Mould and RJD2—all $15 in advance—on sale there now.

The Bunkhouse has promised to unveil its full fall lineup on August 1.
