Brandvik’s low-lit narrative sculptures made of large-scale objects—gutted Porsche, golf cart, miniature Christmas tree—matched with his three-dimensional, full-scale and illuminated wooden telephone booth, titled “Bernini” (and, of course, his large-scale jungle gym structure of Las Vegas buildings) prove that Brandvik is a master at evoking time and memory.
