A starter on the last UNLV squad to reach the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet Sixteen (2007), Umeh, a 31-year-old swingman, will play for Team Nigeria in Rio.

A Bishop Gorman grad ranked third in the world, the 28-year-old Park, who has 25 pro wins on her résumé, will compete for her native South Korea.

Connor Fields

After repping for Team USA in BMX racing at the 2012 London Games, this 23-year-old Green Valley High grad and current UNLV student is back for a second Olympic tour.

Swimming

Cody Miller

This 24-year-old Palo Verde High alum will try for a U.S. medal in the 100-meter breaststroke—and could figure into Team USA’s relay plans—in Rio.

Rugby

Team USA

The Sevens train in Chula Vista, California, but whenever they take the field for full-on competition, they do so here in Vegas, which makes them a de-facto home team.

Golf

Alex Cejka

A longtime Las Vegas resident ranked 125th in the world, Cejka has won 12 pro tournaments during his career. He’ll compete for his native Germany in Rio.
