Dave Fogg, Warren Peace:  The Late Night Creeps

Hometown: Las Vegas (Fogg); Yuma, Arizona (Peace)

Ages: 30-something

Professions: Radio DJs, KLUC 98.5-FM.

Profile: The Late Night Creeps make airwaves on Vibrate Radio every Friday and Saturday night from 2-5 a.m. This duo, who both got their starts in radio in 1987, have played pivotal roles in Vegas’ rave and underground hip-hop scenes, and were in on the ground floor of the mash-ups movement with their 50 Cent/Nine Inch Nails remix of “In Da Club.” Vibrate is Vegas’ first FM radio show specializing in electro-house, with some commercial dance mixes thrown in. Their 4-5 a.m. Money Shot Mix stands out, as it’s the hour when people leave the clubs or work—that’s when they hit you with one chart-topper after the next.

Why We Do What We Do: “Vegas is pretty much the place to go now for entertainment, nightclubs and house talent,” Fogg says. “I do it to expose more people to that genre of music—dance and house music.” Adds Peace, “I really love multigenre music. You start developing better taste. When you listen to many different kinds of music, you have to be really open ... to the energy the artist is putting forth.”

Personal Tidbits: Fogg listens to Roadhouse Country on Sirius satellite radio and is said to be a huge Queens of the Stone Age fan. Peace listens to BBC Radio One on Sirius.

What we’re listening to: Happy Birthday! by ModeSelektor (Fogg). The Black and White Album by The Hives (Peace).

Latest Accomplishment: Peace’s HipHopSite.com now offers more than 500 artists’ MP3s for download.

Quotes: “Thank you and good night.” (Fogg) “Peace.” (Peace)
