Tough plants

According to something we just Googled, British artist Paul Morrison draws inspiration from a variety of sources—including, obviously, botanical forms—and “unifies his compositions with artificial spatial configurations that nevertheless intimate perspectival recession.” If you say so, Internet. We just like the bluntness of this image (“Endophyte”), the stark way it suggests plant life getting in your face, taking over. This isn’t from grandma’s garden. Morrison’s work is on view at the Las Vegas Art Museum, 360-8000.
