Willie Aames—best known as Scott Baio’s chucklehead sidekick on Charles in Charge—fronted and played lead guitar for rock band Willie Aames & Paradise in the late ’70s. Willie Ames—constantly touring 26-year-old guitarist/banjoist—did neither. The San Diego native will, however, perform an acoustic set at socially conscious latte lounge Rejavanate this weekend. Enjoy his windswept, timeless, finger-picked tunes inspired by the likes of Dire Straits and Fleetwood Mac; just don’t call him “Buddy.”
