Look! In the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s ... Champagne? For big spenders, summer in Las Vegas just got a lot more decadent, thanks to a bubbly-delivering drone that touched down at Marquee Dayclub over Memorial Day Weekend, according to a spokeswoman. It’s the brainchild of Hing Yip Yim, Tao Group’s director of operations, and customers who ante up for its services get a photo of the special delivery as well as an aerial shot of the group (did someone say Instagram?). It’s quite a production, as the drone, which can fly in winds up to 30 mph and carry as much as 12 pounds, requires both a cameraman and a pilot. Anyone with serious money to burn—the spokeswoman called reports listing the price at $20,000 “somewhat correct”—can book a drone bottle delivery by calling 702-333-9000 or visiting marqueelasvegas.com.
