This year's EDMbiz Conference & Expo may wind up being the most momentous to date. The fifth edition of the dance music and club culture confab, which takes place June 14-16 and officially kicks off EDC Week, not only moves to a new host property (Caesars Palace) and expands (an additional stage, a hackathon), but will boast three keynotes—two boasting massive names in the world of electronic dance music.

Moby, who helped pioneer the genre in the early 1990s and broke through to the mainstream with his 1999 album Play, will head up one of the conversations, as will Insomniac founder/CEO and EDC leader Pasquale Rotella, participating in his first keynote at EDMbiz and surely delving into the future of both his event/nightlife-based company and the dance business in general. The third will feature Bob Lefsetz, whose widely circulated Lefsetz Letter is revered within entertainment circles.

Panels discussing the industry and technology will round out the daytime programming, with DJs such as Laidback Luke, Marshmello, Junkie XL, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz and Jauz taking part. Club events populate the evening portion of the conference, including an opening party headlined by Afrojack on June 14 at Omnia and a closing bash with Galantis and Loco Dice on June 16 at Marquee.
