The men in your life may start looking a little shaggy soon, and for good reason. The Movember Mustache Movement is a worldwide effort during the month of November to raise awareness and money to fight male cancer. Dudes start “Movember” clean shaven. For 30 days, these Mo Bros, supported by the ladies in their lives, grow, groom and wax their ’staches to perfection.

Culinary Dropout at the Hard Rock invites you to hop on the Mo bandwagon by sipping the Handlebar ($6). Created by Mat Snapp, the cocktail is named after a mustache style resembling bicycle handlebars. The look, popular in the 19th-century Wild West, is now sported by many craft mixologists, but you don’t need a ’stache to whip up this seasonal treat. It’s a creamy confection with Jim Beam yumminess and hints of cinnamon and fresh-baked ginger snaps. Ready, set, let’s Mo!

The Handlebar

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Jim Beam bourbon

½ oz. Art in the Age Snap

½ oz. simple syrup

1 oz. cream

1 whole egg

cinnamon-sugar

(garnish)

Method: Dry-shake all ingredients. Add ice and shake again. Strain neat into a rocks glass. k Top with cinnamon-sugar.
