Monday marks the unofficial end of Vegas summer. Say adios with one last taste of the tropics.

Tao Beach’s Pineapple Express ($25) is a bombshell bursting with fruit flavors and hydrating coconut water. It’s also easy to make, keeping your Labor Day fairly labor-less. As for the name, you may recognize it from one of the best stoner movies of all time: 2008’s Pineapple Express, starring and co-written by Seth Rogen.

Tim Keller, director of beverage for Tao Group, gave us some interesting intel on the drink and its namesake: “The term ‘pineapple express’ originated as a meteorological phenomenon that brings warm air and moisture from Hawaii up to Vancouver.  The Cocos~Pure coconut water we use is from a company in Vancouver. I am also originally from Vancouver. So with all of these connecting factors, we decided to go with the name Pineapple Express.”

Ingredients:

1 ¾ oz. Bacardi Pineapple Fusion Rum

10 oz. CoCos~Pure coconut water

1 oz. pineapple juice

1 pineapple

Core and freeze pineapple.

Method: Fill frozen pineapple with ice. Add ingredients. Stir and serve.
