PBR Rock Bar’s second-Year Anniversary Party The Strip-side bar and restaurant celebrates its sophomore success on Thursday, inviting locals to dine and drink with 20 percent off their bill throughout the day. Revelers can continue the party into the night at the new Rock Bar, with a $25 open bar from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. September 6, 9 p.m., free entry.

Wynter Gordon at Palms The pop artist has worked with some of EDM’s biggest, including David Guetta on “Toyfriend.” Clubbers might know her best, though, for her No. 1 dance single “Dirty Talk,” which received lots of dancefloor play. Gordon lands at the Palms Friday for a doubleheader, performing at Ditch during the day and at Rain at night. September 7; Ditch: doors at noon, $40 men, $30 women; Rain: doors at 11 p.m., $25 men, $20 women.

Under the Neon Lights at Neonopolis Heading Downtown for First Friday or the Pride Parade? Consider making a stop at Neonopolis, where Krave puts on a drag queen festival. Sharon Needles, Season 4 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, headlines alongside iconic drag veteran Lady Bunny—and these ladies know how to werk! The 18+ extravaganza also includes performances by Ryan Adames, other Drag Race alums and dance group Barbie’s Addiction. DJ Michael Graves brings his beats. September 7, 6 p.m., free entry.

Hope Solo at Chateau Ryan Lochte isn’t the only Olympian looking to blow off some steam after being in the international spotlight. The soccer player (and a few of her teammates) party at the Paris nightspot Friday to celebrate their gold medal win. If only Brandi Chastain were here to give us the VIP play-by-play. Outasight at 1 Oak The recording artist climbed the charts with his “Tonight Is the Night” single—and chances are good you’ve heard it. He performs at the Mirage nightspot Friday. September 7, doors at 10:30 p.m., $50 men, $30 women.

Ashlee Simpson at Wet Republic Fiji Water presents the second pool party of its Summer Soak series on Saturday, with the former Mrs. Pete Wentz playing host. Partygoers can beat the heat with treats from the Fiji Water snow cone bar and are encouraged to tweet their summery Instagram photos for the event’s live #discoversummer stream. September 8, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $20 women.

Dash Berlin & Will.I.Am at Marquee The Dutch DJ scored the highest new entry when he landed No. 15 on DJ Mag’s 2010 Top 100 poll—props, man! Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am joins Mr. Berlin at the Cosmo club Saturday for a night of EDM and pop awesomeness. September 8, doors at 9 p.m., $50 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Cazzette at Encore Beach Club Still somewhat new to the scene, the Swedish DJ duo’s first release charted on Beatport for six weeks straight—so take note of that name! They supply the soundtrack for EBC’s Daystar Sundays bash. September 9, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $30 women.
