Rough Riders at Krave The Strip-side gay nightspot is planning yet another “club transformation,” and this time it’s Western-themed. The special edition of the club’s 18+ Rush Friday party includes a $2,500 balloon drop and beats by resident DJs J. Diesel and Mikey Francis. Don’t forget to cowboy (or cowgirl) up, as Western attire is encouraged. September 14, doors at 10:30 p.m., $25, locals free before 12:30 a.m.

Tiësto at Encore Well, you certainly can’t fault the Dutch DJ any points for attendance—he returns to play a triple-header for his Encore residency this weekend. Surrender your Friday with the EDM artist, see a set at XS or catch his beats under the sun during Encore Beach Club’s Daystar Sunday party. South of the Border Party at Señor Frog’s The fiesta-friendly bar is throwing a weekend-long party in observance of Mexican Independence Day. Celebrate the country’s break from Spain in style: Sip on 2-for-1 tequila shots and flavored margaritas while enjoying the live mariachi music. September 14-16, free entry.

Sean Paul at Hard Rock Hotel The Grammy-winning reggae artist may be most memorable for two hit singles off his 2005 album The Trinity—“We Be Burnin’” and “Temperature.” He performs twice during the hotel’s reggae-infused weekend: at Vanity Saturday night and poolside at Rehab the following day. Vanity: September 15, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women; Rehab: September 16, doors at 10 a.m., $50+ men, $30+ women, local ladies free.

Mario Lopez at Tao If you haven’t heard already, A.C. Slater is gettin’ hitched! And these days, what’s a celebrity wedding without celebrity antics in Vegas beforehand? The Saved by the Bell actor celebrates his last days of singledom Hangover-style, bringing his bachelor party to the Venetian venue. Strippers will probably be scarce at Lopez’s stag night, but eye candy won’t—Maxim reveals the top 10 ladies in its Hometown Hotties contest at the Saturday night bash, and singer Marc Anthony will also be in attendance. September 15, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Taboo at Rain The Black Eyed Pea returns to play a set at the Palms nightclub on Saturday, with DJs Mark Stylz and Kevin Brown also supplying their sounds. September 15, doors at 11 p.m., $25 men, $20 women.

Frankie J at The Bank The Mexican-born, California-raised R&B artist was in town earlier this summer, opening for Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias at Mandalay Bay. He returns to launch the Bellagio nightspot’s Mexican Independence Day weekend with a live performance. In the booth: resident DJ Karma. September 15, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.
