Haute Summer Night at Mandarin Oriental The swanky CityCenter hotel launched a series of fashion-focused cocktail receptions last Thursday. The poolside bash returns this week with a showing of Cystals boutique Porsche Design’s spring collection, a manicure station, complimentary small bites and a raffle for Porsche Design sunglasses. August 1, 6 p.m., free entry, RSVP to [email protected].

International Beer Day Tweetup at Rí Rá The world celebrates the union of hops, barley and yeast Friday, and Rí Rá is marking the hoppy occasion with a special social-media event. The authentic Mandalay Place Irish pub offers a free pint of Guinness to all who RSVP, as well as a shot at raffle prizes throughout the evening. Did we mention the first 15 hop-heads through the door score a free beer flight? August 2, 6 p.m., free entry, RSVP at twtvite.com/rirabeerday.

Tyga at Palms Pool Maybe best known for his 2012 “Rack City” hit, Tyga also recently worked with Cedric Gervais on another edition of his explosive “Molly” track. Keep an ear out for both when he performs for Palms’ Ditch Saturday pool party. August 3, doors at noon, $25+ men, $20+ women.

Bruno Mars at Tao You’ve no doubt caught “Treasure” or “Locked Out of Heaven” on the airwaves lately, and Saturday night Mars brings his Unorthodox Jukebox to the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Catch him at the Venetian nightclub afterwards as he hosts a post-concert celebration. In the booth: DJ Politik. August 3, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

RedFoo at XS “Bring Out the Bottles” Saturday night, because with RedFoo supplying the party rock at XS it’s time for some “Shots” and “Champagne Showers.” Rock those neon leopard-print leggings like the rock star you are—no one will be judging, we promise. August 3, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Bassnectar at Surrender The EDM artist embarks on his Immersive Music tour in September, but he’s already dropped the mixtape of the same name. Give it a listen to know what you Bass Heads are in for during his Saturday night set at Surrender. August 3, doors at 10:30 p.m., $42 men, $32 women.

311 at Hard Rock Hotel Pool The funk- and reggae-infused rockers take the stage at the Joint Sunday night, only after supplying the soundtrack for the off-Strip hotel’s infamous Rehab splash bash earlier that day. In the booth: DJs Richard Beynon, Shift and Wellman. August 4, doors at 10 a.m., $50+ men, $30+ women.

Freedom Sunday at Marquee While the Strip doesn’t have a dedicated gay nightclub, there are plenty of gay events to attend these days. The latest launches at Marquee this Sunday, with beats by DJ Nick Ayler, a performance by dance music artist Rokelle and an open bar from 10-11 p.m. August 4, doors at 10 p.m., $20, locals free until midnight, $10 after that.
