Slide at Andrea’s and Surrender Wynn Nightlife’s new promo encourages partiers to grab dinner at Andrea’s—with $7 drink and dining selections for locals and DJ Esteban setting the mood—before “sliding” over to nearby Surrender for the party. Open-format Brooklyn DJ Mick scores the midnight fun. October 17, 10 p.m., $32 men, $22 women, free for local Andrea’s diners.

Fall Beer Festival at Golden Nugget The All American Craft Beer Tasting kicks off the Downtown hotel’s annual brew celebration, featuring more than 125 craft brews to sample, bar bites and live music. The hoppy happening continues Saturday afternoon with an Oktoberfest Pool Party featuring 150 international and local brews. Prost! October 18, 7 p.m., $50; October 19, 1 p.m., free entry.

Craze at Body English People complain that your modern DJ is merely a producer who learned how to operate DJ software and hardware just enough to play his creations for a club crowd. Craze is not one of those DJs. Not only can the man play tracks on any medium, but he’s versatile enough to incorporate newer genres such as trap and dubstep into his classic repertoire of hip-hop and breaks. More than a DJ, he’s a pillar. October 18, 10:30 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Scarlet at Artifice The local goth community may not show the big numbers it once did, but it still throws down, as the Scarlet promo proves twice a month at Artifice. Fans of brooding beats, darkwave dance and macabre music find a home here, and you should, too, as DJ Morpheus Blak simultaneously schools and enthralls with his wide-ranging mix of industrial rock. October 19, 10 p.m., free.

GBDC Grandiose Opening at Ghostbar There’s only one party in Vegas where you’ll get handcuffed to a go-go, chug a brew through a bedazzled beer bong and be rewarded for wearing a crazy costume with super sweet swag—and it’s the top-of-the-Palms GBDC. The daytime debauch-fest returns for its third season Saturday afternoon, so get ready for “random cheeseburger attacks” and the best people-watching Vegas daylife has to offer. October 19, doors at 1 p.m., $20 men, $10 women, local ladies free, local men free until 3 p.m.

Neon Circus at Hyde Intrigued by GBDC but can’t make the daytime party? Hyde to the rescue! The Bellagio nightspot launches another season of XIV Vegas Sessions Sunday night with some big-top fun, complete with XIV’s signature champagne showers, ubiquitous neon and nearly carte blanche dress code. October 20, 5 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Whiskey Wednesdays at Andre’s While Monte Carlo’s cigar lounge celebrates the smoky spirit every hump day, October’s installments are being devoted to sherry. This month’s flight features a whiskey aged in sherry casks, a sherry matured in bourbon casks and more. Take your experience up a notch and complement your favorite variety with one of the venue’s 30 cigars—just ask the staff for a pairing suggestion. October 23, 5:30 p.m., $25 (includes flight).

Disclosure at Light A big get for the new Light Group/Cirque du Soleil danceteria: U.K. upstart duo Disclosure, which you may know from their sample-dominant summer single, “When a Fire Starts to Burn.” Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence like to mix it up—as in mixing their electro-pop with two-step and hip-hop, among other genres. Let’s hope their love for non-EDM acts like Nicolas Jaar, Thom Yorke and James Blake also figures into their set and blows clubgoers’ minds. October 23, 10:30 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.
