Foodie? Hate being the last to know everything? Then listen up! The Hard Rock Hotel’s new “amped-up gastropub” Culinary Dropout opens its doors to the public on Friday, with singer-songwriter Kelley James providing the venue’s inaugural tunes. Celebrate in true Culinary Dropout style with CD’s signature libation, the After School Special—a combination of raspberry tea-infused tequila and Modelo Especial. —Mark Adams

Imagine if someone gathered all the bachelorettes on the Strip on any given weekend and put them in the same place. Would the world explode? Would the night turn into a Celebrity Deathmatch-style brawl with fake eyelashes, fake nails and fake hair flying? Would everyone just sip their vodka sodas and make nice? Tao Group wants to know. The company is offering up Tao, Tao Beach and Lavo for the World’s Largest Bachelorette Party September 20-23. Attendees will get free spa services, VIP bags and pole dancing classes, and brides will be entered in a raffle for a honeymoon in Mexico. BYO naughty straw.

Next week, Labor Day Weekend will bring DJ royalty to the decks of nightclubs up and down the Strip. But last weekend was more about Olympic royalty (Ryan Lochte, Cullen Jones), entertainment royalty (J. Lo) and actual royalty (Prince Harry). Yes, Kate Middleton’s brother-in-law was in Vegas, getting some sun at Wet Republic on Saturday, then partying to the sounds of Porter Robinson at XS later that night and losing an impromptu breaststroke race to prince-of-the-pool Lochte at the club’s Night Swim party on Sunday, according to a very blurry video brought to us by the New York Daily News and someone’s cellphone. Now that that’s done, let’s see how Harry fares against Gabby Douglas on the uneven bars. —Sarah Feldberg
