Back in November, we reported that Studio 54, the iconic nightclub at the MGM Grand, would shut its doors on January 8. However, as things usually go in the fast-paced world of nightlife, the venue has decided to extend its operations through Saturday, February 4. A reincarnation of its 1970s New York City namesake, the club has been providing the party Strip-side for the past 14 years. So if you’re looking to relive your disco days, or if you want one last peek before the curtain really closes, mark your calendars—there are only a few days left to party it up in the internationally renown nightspot. A “closing bash” will mark the finality of the club’s impressive tenure, and its closure will make way for a new, yet-to-be announced nightlife venue. —Mark Adams

We know you used to look forward to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas every year because it always meant one thing—those amazing parties hosted by AVN, which were held concurrently with CES. But even though the two have parted ways, fear not—CES has you covered, party-wise. Combining club music with geeky technology, Haze Nightclub at Aria celebrates CES with a party for Soul, a headphones company whose co-owner, Ludacris, will perform live, with tracks laid down by resident DJ Karma. The fun begins at 10:30 p.m. on January 12. And the best part? AVN is just around the corner. So have fun—but save your strength.
