It’s hard to believe 30 years have passed since the first PT’s Pub opened in 1982 at 1651 Palm St. in Las Vegas. Today, PT’s Entertainment Group is behind more than 40 local venues, and the company is celebrating the end of its 20s by giving away $1,000 a day until the end of October. Consider it an early Halloween present. Now go out there and win, people!

There are more than costume parties coming in the next two weeks—October’s last gasp is full of big openings. Mark your calendar for Stoney’s new location, which brings line dancing to Town Square on October 25, followed by The Act’s coming out party at the Palazzo on October 26 and Bagatelle Beach & Supper Club’s big reveal on Halloween. A Night of Masks kicks off two weeks of sneak-peek soft opening for the Tropicana bistro and nightspot, with grand opening festivities slated to be an invite-only affair on November 16. Twenty-five people will win their way in by liking Bagatelle Las Vegas’ Facebook page.

And put this on your Christmas list for the aspiring DJ in your life: Joining the ranks of music industry greats like Dr. Dre and Quincy Jones, DJ/producer Tiësto is the latest celeb to get his own line of headphones. AKG by Tiësto (Jones’ line is also through AKG) includes three models of ’phones designed specifically for electronic dance music and ranging from the high-performance K267 ($349) to the all-purpose K67 ($99). The Dutch EDM master says he worked closely with engineers throughout the design process, tweaking the sound till it met his rigorous standards. Yours are likely considerably lower, but don’t let that stop you from bragging about the bass boost and impressive range.
