Is The Strip big enough for another Sunday LGBT party? It seems so: Freedom Sundays kicked off last weekend at Marquee with sounds by DJ Nick Ayler and singer Rokelle. Masterminded by Eduardo Cordova—the man behind Heaven at the Hard Rock Hotel pool and Closet Sundays—the party featured cast members from Rock of Ages and Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas, Joshua Strickland from Peepshow, Chippendales dancers Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis and Reichen Lehmkuhl and Chip Arndt, from The Amazing Race. The event continues weekly in the club’s BoomBox Room.

No one’s ever made it rain in the club with just $50, but you may be able to at The Act’s August 14 benefit night, Rain Dance. The club will donate a portion of all proceeds—and 100 percent of a special $50 champagne bottle—to Firefighters of Southern Nevada. The night will end with a massive champagne shower, which is just like real rain, only stickier.

Bagatelle Beach, we hardly knew ye, but your parties live on. One Group’s Heraea launched its version of Bagatelle’s Poplife party Friday night, unleashing neon hues and ’80s and ’90s dance music on the Palms clubstaurant. With tunes and big-screen music videos from D’Jam Hassan and VJ Mikey Swift, the party will continue every Friday night. Slap bracelets optional.
