Beer me! That’s what 205 backers had to say to CraftHaus Brewery’s Kickstarter campaign, which raised $25,859 toward development of a craft brewery and taproom in Henderson. Expect the hoppy goodness to come to fruition in winter 2013.

It’s been more than a year since beloved Irish pub McFadden’s left the Rio, but it may have a new home soon in the former Ranch House (née Cadillac Ranch) space at Town Square.

Hyped about Life Is Beautiful? Local bands aren’t the only Vegas musicians getting some love from the Downtown festival; nightlife mainstays DJ 88, DJ ZO and Peter Shalvoy are among the festival’s announced DJ contingent. Keep an eye (and ear) out for their appearances October 26-27.

Original America’s Best Dance Crew winners Jabbawockeez, hot off their new show at Luxor, took over LAX Friday night, with frequent collaborators The Bangerz commandeering the turntables. The dance crew was presented with a two-tiered cake by Darth Vader and the stormtroopers. Who knew they baked?

Vegas-loving Olympian Michael Phelps was spotted at a Palms Pool cabana Saturday, as were Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile and Jason “Wee-Man” Acuña of MTV’s Jackass. Acuña was later seen partying at Ghostbar, where he kept the havoc at a minimum—by Jackass standards, anyway. Jason Statham (in town filming the remake of the Burt Reynolds classic Heat) found himself at the VIP table behind Hakkasan’s DJ booth Saturday, drinking and dancing to Michael Woods’ deck work. And then there was Coolio: “If you aren’t here to party at Rockhouse, you must be getting old,” said the rapper, who played a special set Saturday at the Palazzo bar. Absinthe’s Angel Porrino and Gazillionaire were spotted as well, signing the bar’s “Celebrity Wall.”
