Close call: Like most apocalypses, the Act’s next End of the World party has been pushed back, to July 17. For the special occasion, the performance-centric nightclub enforces a dress code of what you have “never dared” and is providing a “Last Wish” wall for guests to express their final desires. There will also be cupcakes. Because if it’s really the End of Days, you might as well have some cake to celebrate.
The highest of Hakkasan’s high-end bottle service is getting a bit of social media attention courtesy of Coco Austin. The Peepshow and Ice Loves Coco star posted a picture of the club’s premium beverage menu with the caption: “This is seriously disgusting! U won’t believe me when u see these prices 4 drinks. Thats why I had 2 take a pic. Its a super menu 4 VIP ballers.” The post elicited more than 300 reactions, ranging from amusement to disgust. The club’s premium beverage menu starts at a bargain $12,000 for two 1.5L bottles of Grey Goose, a standard bottle of Patrón Platinum and 10 bottles of Dom Pérignon, and it goes all the way up to $500,000 for one each of every size of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne (equivalent to 109 bottles). All you “VIP ballers” out there, be sure to Instagram those in ascending order for us. Thanks.
It was a huge weekend for Vegas as a celeb playground, with the Billboard Music Awards in town Sunday night. Miguel headlined Tao’s Maxim Music Weekend, and over at Encore Beach Club, E! News anchor Terrence J showed up for some pre-awards show fun, as did Chris Brown. Later in the night, Surrender was bumping, with Will.i.am checking out Diplo’s set. The dapper K-Pop star Psy hosted an afterparty at Lavo, showing off his new track “Gentleman,” as well as dance anthem “Gangnam Style.” Elsewhere at Lavo, Madonna was spotted dining with a group of friends.
