Krave Massive has been sold, according to former owner Kelly Murphy. Las Vegas Sun reports that while minority owner Downtown Project was reported to be seeking 100 percent ownership of the huge Neonopolis-hosted nightlife complex—currently closed due to its lack of a sales tax permit, one of several issues the venue has incurred—its rep says negotiations are still ongoing. Murphy will retain ownership of LGBT fun spot Drink & Drag, located just below Krave.

Kaskade is coming back—temporarily—to his previous home in Las Vegas: Encore. The EDM producer/DJ will play a series of sets at XS: October 11, Halloween, New Year’s Eve and a yet-to-be-announced fourth date. However, Kaskade returns next year to Marquee, where he recently wrapped up his pool promo Summer Lovin. His newest album, Atmosphere, dropped on September 10 (see review here).

If you were worried the beloved GBDC day party would be forgotten amid Ghostbar’s recent, classed-up remodel, fret not. The party will return on October 19 for its third season. Start practicing your piñata swing now.

Last week Cosmopolitan announced a new nightspot with an improvisational edge due for a December 2013 opening. Dubbed the “rebirth of the social club,” Rose. Rabbit. Lie. will combine restaurant, club and entertainment. “As an audience, we may not even know what is on tap for the evening, but it will certainly be something to talk about. Here, the night always makes for great conversation,” Cosmo CEO John Unwin said in a statement.
