Pool season is finally showing signs of winding down. Though the Palms Pool will continue booking DJs through the month, Ditch Fridays ends September 12 (with DJ Jazzy Jeff). On September 21, Daylight takes a bow with Krewella, and September 28 sees a slew of wet spots concluding the season, including Encore Beach Club with Zedd, Rehab, Liquid (featuring an all-day open bar) and Daydream. Columbus Day weekend offers the next wave of farewells, with Marquee Dayclub and Wet Republic closing October 12, the latter featuring Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and DJ Fergie. Tao Beach signs off October 26. Despite the slow-grinding halt to pool season, Wet Republic is jumping into the nighttime water-soiree sweepstakes on September 16 with Wet, which debuts with Tiësto behind the CDJs.

The New Year’s Eve announcement firstie goes to ... Tao. The Venetian mainstay will throw a supersized version of Snoop Dogg’s Snoopadelic Cabaret. Limited presale tickets are only $100 for men and $50 for women, I shizzle you not.

Avicii has canceled all upcoming gigs—including his September dates at Encore Beach Club and XS—due to health issues. Zedd will cover for his Sept. 14 EBC gig, with Diplo lording over the same venue on Sept. 20. A replacement for Avicii's Sept. 19 XS date has yet to be announced.

Transitions: EC Twins have moved from Tao and Marquee to Life. Their SLS debut comes September 26. And sun-pushing party After had its final morning at 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque September 6. Founder Thom Svast says a new location is forthcoming.
