Sen of Japan

Description

The majority of our neighborhood sushi bars are Korean- or Taiwanese-owned, but this place is pure Japanese, and the chef treats sashimi with the proper respect. The toro (fatty tuna belly), uni (sea urchin) and kampachi (amberjack) are all as fresh and flavorful as they would be at 5:30 a.m. in Tsukiji, Tokyo’s legendary fish market.
