Jam bands Tea Leaf Green and Howlin Rain make their mark on the Vinyl stage at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Friday, October 12. Special guest for the evening will be Spafford.
Tea Leaf Green has been capturing audiences since 1996 with its rock sounds. Due to vast popularity, the band has played at several summer music festivals including Wakarusa, Bonnaroo, Jam in the Dam and more. In 2006, the band’s song “Taught to Be Proud”earned a Jammy Award for “Song of the Year.” Tea Leaf Green is well-known for its unpredictable and psychedelic shows. Formed in 2004, Howlin Rain just released its third full-length studio album, The Russian Wilds. The blues-rock band from San Francisco is known for its classically soulful yet intense tunes.
