He previously served as Weekly's Associate Web Editor and Calendar Editor, and is the 2014 recipient of the Nevada Press Association’s Journalist of Merit award for urban weekly newspapers. A native Las Vegan, he is the Weekly’s resident beer geek, a recovering marching-band nerd and loves Taylor Swift's music more than most things in life.
