Maybe the police should just stop bothering investigating crimes in these areas if the residents are too afraid to "snitch" on the perps. Either that or the police have to put a HUGE presence in the neighborhoods with a lot of crime to show the residents that they're there to protect and serve. If these people are afraid of the criminals, then they've either got to move or grow some balls and start taking back their neighborhoods. It's time for the people to show these punks that their criminal behavior is not going to be tolerated. Personally, I think all the residents should arm themselves and if threatened, shoot first and ask questions later. If enough residents shoot the punks, the punks will learn that it's not in their best interests to remain in those areas. Maybe they'll go back to east or south central Kalifornia where they belong.
