The LEV Group and chef Gina Marinelli of La Strega have soft-opened Harlo Steakhouse & Bar in the former Andiron space at Downtown Summerlin. The restaurant is currently open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5 until 10 p.m.

Nearby at Downtown Summerlin, La Neta Cocina y Lounge launched its new brunch over Halloween weekend, with dishes from chef Israel Castro including the Breakfast Tostada, Trash-Quiles with rojo sauce and chicken tinga, pozole verde and the Fried Truff Burger, which is a tortilla stuffed with beef, crispy tostadas, Brussels slaw and house-made Truff burger sauce. Brunch is served Sundays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Ferraro’s is celebrating its 36th anniversary with a special three-course menu for $36.36 available November 5-7 and 12-14. Favorite dishes on the menu include calamari fritti, carpaccio di Manzo, spaghetti aglio e olio, vitello piccata and more. Reservations are available by calling 702-364-5300.

Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars Palace will host an E&J Gallo five-course wine pairing brunch on November 6 at 11:30 a.m., priced at $140 per guest. Menu offerings include roasted beet salad with goat cheese, salmon and avocado toast, grilled lobster benedict with crispy potato cake and New York strip steak with garlic-rubbed broccolini. Reservations can be made at OpenTable.

Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Bonanno’s New York Pizza Kitchen at 7090 W. Craig Road on November 6 at 11 a.m. The restaurant will be offering $500 gift cards for the first 100 guests, $1 pizza slices, half off whole pies all day and more.

The annual Super Sunday Jewish Food Festival from Jewish Nevada will be held on November 7 from noon until 4 p.m. at Tivoli Village, free and open to the public and showcasing Jewish food, arts, culture and community. Vendors include Kosher Chinglish, Burnt Offerings, Bagelmania, Pinkbox Donuts, Joy Pop Co., Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and more. For more information, visit jewishnevada.org/supersunday.

The Shady Grove Lounge at Silverton Casino has been transformed into the Bad Elf pop-up bar featuring holiday décor including 27 elves suspended from the ceiling and festive cocktails including the Eggnog Martini, Dirty Snowman and Naughty Butter Beer. The pop-up continues through January 2. Also at Silverton, Twin Creeks steakhouse will reopen to the public on November 17 with a new menu and a Thanksgiving Day three-course meal for $45 per person. And the One Drunk Puppy wine tasting event is set for November 12 from 6-9 p.m. at the Sway Pool with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Animal Foundation. The event will include complimentary appetizers, live entertainment and a silent auction along with wines provided by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. Tickets are $45 and available at silvertoncasino.com.

Bazaar Meat at Sahara Las Vegas is offering a new Truffle Festival menu throughout the month of November with dishes such as Josper-grilled king crab legs with black garlic and truffle butter, crispy pig cheeks with truffle potato espuma, baby burrata with truffle shavings and smoked hazelnut and a tableside-shaved Black Burgundy truffle supplement for $30 for three grams.

There are new seasonal menu items at Sparrow + Wolf from new executive chef Travis Schultz and chef/owner Brian Howard, including oxtail hummus with crispy chickpeas and naan, crispy Brussels sprouts with barbecue pork and Korean pear, coal-fired Spanish octopus and chickpea stew, and black pepper and honey pork “secreto” with foie gras, plantain and peanut nuoc cham.
