This Father’s Day (June 19), check the many manly brunch options, spa “man”-icures and freebies for dads. Why buy him another tie when you could take him to a beer festival or a fun attraction on the Strip? With all the options Las Vegas has to offer, there is no excuse for a boring Father’s Day celebration.

Simon Restaurant & Lounge at Palms Place Hotel and Spa celebrates fatherhood with a special brunch menu for dads and families served from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., priced at $49 for adults and $29 for children. Menu highlights include bacon wrapped pork loin, prime rib, scalloped potatoes, strawberry tuxedo muffins, Guinness stout gingerbread muffins and bacon waffles with bourbon maple syrup. Society Cafe at Encore offers up a special family style shared brunch menu featuring sticky buns, seasonal fruit, shrimp cocktail, Philly cheesesteak potstickers, Society eggs Benedict, steak frites, Jidori chicken breast and an assortment of eclairs, warm doughnut bites and chocolate-dipped frozen bananas for dessert. The cost is $36 per person and reservations can be made by calling 702-770-7171.

For the month of June, Pampas Brazilian Grille inside Miracle Mile Shops is offering dads a chance to eat for free. To receive the complimentary gift certificate, fans of the restaurant can submit their dad’s first and last name to [email protected]. The offer is valid for dinner only and with a purchase of an additional dinner and two drinks.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar celebrates with special early hours and a brunch prix fixe menu served from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Brunch is priced at $32.95 per person and $15.95 for children and includes a complimentary $25 dining card for dads to use at a later date. Menu highlights include mushroom, cheddar and filet mignon fritatta, berry stuffed French toast, smoked salmon, filet Benedict, New York cheesecake and walnut turtle pie. Dads can also enjoy a specialty cocktail for the occasion, the Fleming’s Button-Down, which consists of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, maple syrup and a dash of bitters. Joe’s Stone Crab offers up not one, but two, decadent three-course menus. With lunch ($29.95) and dinner ($36.95) options, you’ll get the choice of Joe’s famous stone crabs or savory filet mignon. Both meal options also include soup, signature sides and a slice of Joe’s homemade pie. Guests who order the three-course menu can include a zesty Bloody Mary for just $1. Treat Dad to a French brunch this Father’s Day at Mon Ami Gabi where he can enjoy offerings like corned beef hash and poached eggs or eggs Benedict. Brunch will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The regular lunch menu will also be available. Call 702-944-4224 for reservatins.

At American Fish by Michael Mina at Aria, enjoy Dad’s Surf & Turf–a wood-grilled 18 oz. bone-in rib eye and Maine lobster tail with bacon wrapped potatoes, creamed corn and red wine reduction for $79.

Le Cirque at Bellagio is serving up a tasting menu packed with delicacies such as Maine lobster, foie gras and sea urchin risotto. The meal is priced at $125 per person. Pyramid Café at Luxor is featuring two filet breakfast dishes during Father’s Day weekend. Filet Benedict is a spin on the traditional dish with poached eggs and thinly sliced filet on an English muffin topped with Hollandaise and steak sauce for $11.99. Filet Oscar adds shellfish with grilled filet over asparagus topped with a crab cake served with béarnaise sauce and steak fries for $17.99.

Charlie Palmer’s Aureole at Mandalay Bay is offering a tasting menu all weekend, featuring four courses of French cuisine including Baja ahi tuna trio, Sonoma rabbit, surf and turf with beef tenderloin and Maine lobster. Enjoy desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Megan Romano including honeycomb crème caramel with summer berry tart and pistachio ice cream. Also at Mandalay Bay, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood features Surf N Turf 2000, a concoction of 28 oz. 65 day prime dry aged tomahawk rib eye, Kimchi buerre fondue, poached blue oasis shrimp, served with a watercress salad with caramelized lemon for $95. Call 702-632-9300 for reservations.

The Coasta Cantina at Orleans offers up a Father’s Day special for $17.99 including salad, fajitas, marinated skirt steak and tres leches cake.

SC Prime Steakhouse at Suncoast offers a dining special for $42 featuring artichoke soup, filet mignon with bacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp and strawberry short cake.

Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria is providing a special menu just for dads, featuring chilled watermelon gazpacho, crispy bacon spring rolls, grilled beef tenderloin, macaroni and cheese and bananas Foster. Call 877-230-2742 for reservations.

Strip House is celebrating Father’s Day with a special prime T-bone steak and tequila pairing menu addition. Milagro Tequila pairings will also be available for all of the steak house’s other prime cuts of beef as well.

Texas de Brazil will open at 11:00 a.m. with their full dinner menu and will showcase a display of unique and custom motorcycles and exotic cars for dads to view along with their meals. Call 702- 614-0080 for reservations.

Cabo Wabo Cantina offers up a free Waborita margarita to all dads who dine at the restaurant. Enjoy a Mexican brunch on the patio featuring breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros. Stick around or bring dad back later for the battle of the bands hosted by radio station X 107.5.

Dad can enjoy a spicy Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tacos and Tequila, featuring two-for-one margaritas and Bloody Marias and beer buckets with six 7-oz. Sol bottles for $18. Specialties include albondigas soup with homemade Mexican meatballs and huevos rancheros. T&T’s house mariachi band, the Kings of Cuervo, will perform during brunch.

Comme Ça at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will feature a special Father’s Day brunch from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The prix fixe menu will be priced at $56 per person and offers guests a three-course meal including selections like a Dungeness crab cake, whole roasted turbot and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Executive Chef Matt Pierkarski from Eva Longoria’s Beso Steakhouse will offer a variety of special dishes like prime rib popovers with horseradish cream and funnel cake sundaes in addition to the restaurant’s regular dinner menu.

Disney’s The Lion King at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is extending its first ever locals ticket offer for children now through the end of June, offering each adult purchasing one full-price ticket the opportunity to purchase two child tickets for only $15 per ticket for any weekend matinee performance through June 26. The Great Vegas Beer Festival, a beer festival put on by local duo Motley Brews, is coming to Tivoli Village on June 18th. It will feature 25 top breweries and nearly 100 beers. Local food trucks like Island Breeze and Hot Diggity Dog will be on hand to serve food while band Kava Kreation performs island-inspired music. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club. Presale tickets are $27, available online and tickets are $37 at the gate.

Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat invites dads to enjoy a complimentary entry with the purchase of a child’s admission.

Dads can enjoy a 50% discount at Cravings Buffet at the Mirage on parties of two or more.

Ravella at Lake Las Vegas has several events over the course of the weekend. On Friday June 17, enjoy a poolside movie at 8 p.m. featuring Father of the Bride. On Saturday June 18, enjoy giveaways by the pool. Spa treatments and overnight stays at the resort will be given away throughout the day. On Sunday June 19, enjoy music from a DJ by the pool plus golf package giveaways. If you want to send dad to Ravella for the weekend, consider the Golf Escape Package for $199 per night which includes an unlimited day of golf and transportation to and from the course. The 75-minute treatment includes an invigorating scrub using espresso and lemon oil followed by a shea butter and jasmine massage and body wrap. Next comes a full facial cleansing, exfoliation, massage and mask application. The treatment concludes with a scalp massage and hydrating moisturizer application. All visitors to Rockhouse can enjoy a free shot on Father’s Day as well as $5 cocktails and two-for-one beers. Dads can rock out with the signature 80-oz. guitar drink for $35.

The Las Vegas Locomotives are celebrating Father’s Day by rewarding one lucky dad with an all-access VIP experience to the team’s opening home game on Saturday, August 27. Interested dads should upload their favorite family photo to the Locos Facebook Page page before Father’s Day. The winning dad will also receive a football signed by Coach Fassel and the 2011 Las Vegas Locomotives. The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Father’s Day.

Customers under the age of 10 can submit a favorite photo they have of themselves with their dad to be judged by Rick Harrison and Richard “The Old Man” Harrison from The History Channel’s Pawn Stars as well as Kevin Bolinger, reporter and anchor for Fox 5. The contest deadline is June 14. After being notified the week prior to Father’s Day, the winner will receive brunch on Father’s Day valued at $100 as well as dinner once a month for the following year.
