Events guide: Super Bowl watch parties

Super Sunday could easily be renamed All-You-Can-Eat Sunday as local restaurants and bars pull out all the stops for their Super Bowl party spreads. Get your fill of wings and beer at one of the many parties on and off the Strip.

Watch the game at one of the downtown area’s newest hangouts: The Lady Silvia. Doors open at 12:30 so get there early to ensure a spot for your group. Enjoy free sushi, $2 Budweisers and Heineken Lights, $3 bloody marys, music from DJ Bones until kick off, entertainment from The Lady Sylvia cheerleaders and free pizza at halftime.

Lynyrd Skynyrd's BBQ and Beer offers an all-you-can-eat and drink special featuring beer, wine and well drinks, priced at $75 per person.

Public House hosts Super Sunday Funday where guests can enjoy a comfortable lounge seat for a minimum $45 per hour foo and beverage spend. New York fans can enjoy Ommegang Abbey Ales for only $6. Diehard New England fanatics can enjoy bottles of Sam Adams for $6. At the bar, the house specialty beer, Deschutes, will be priced at $5.

Central by Michel Richard, at Caesars Palace, will show the game in the lounge area. Special menu items include hot wings, beef sliders with garlic aoli, pulled pork sliders, deviled eggs, fried chicken fingers and buckets of chicken.

The Las Vegas Hotel (formerly The Las Vegas Hilton) offers $2 hot dogs and $2 Bud products in Football Central at the LVH Theater. Admission is free and food items are priced a la carte.

At the Silverton, guests can watch the game at Mermaid Lounge or Shady Grove Lounge. Enjoy Negra Modelo, PBR, Pacifico, Jagermeister, Miller Lite and assorted snacks for $1 each. Bud Light pitchers are $5 and Vienna polish sausages and Vienna beef hot dogs are $5. Guests also have the chance to win prizes such as NFL game tickets and Visa gift cards.

Al’s Garage in The District hosts a party with 98.5 KLUC featuring cash, concert ticket and drink giveaways plus $9.85 beer buckets while the broadcast is airing, $3 Miller Lite drafts, $3 Miller Lite cans, $5 well drinks and $20 all-you-can-eat specials. The party starts at noon and guests can enjoy games like beer pong throughout the event.

Aces & Ales offers all-you-can-drink Deschutes beer and half off of all appetizers from 2 until 8 p.m. The beers included in the special are the Black Butte, Jubel Ale, Mirror Pond and Obsidian Stout. Guests can also enjoy giveaways throughout the game.

Catch the game at your neighborhood bar as all area PTs and Sierra Gold locations will offer a $10 ($15 day of) all-you-can-eat buffet featuring hot dogs, nuggets, wings, sliders, chips and salsa and Caesar salad served through halftime. Guests can also enjoy Bud Light mug specials.

PJ Clarke’s in the Forum Shops has a large screen comprised of eight HD screens so you can catch all the action. Enjoy game day specials like NY red hots and a burger bar.

Planet Hollywood restaurant in the Forum Shops offers a $95 big game party package including first half appetizer stations including grilled crudités, buffalo and sweet chili honey wings, chicken crunch bites, nachos and tacos, mini bagel dogs, popcorn and peanuts. The halftime buffet stations include sliders, the “biggest sub on the planet”, meatball sandwiches, BBQ ribs and salads. There will be an open bar serving draft beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee from 2-7 p.m. plus a full bar and additional drink specials. Call 791-2864 to make a reservation.

If you want a room with a view for the game, book the Mandarin Oriental’s Mandarin Suite for up to 15 people and take in views of the Strip from the 22nd floor. Enjoy upscale game food like lobster poboys, truffle tater tots, a gourmet chili station, bratwursts with pork belly sauerkraut and a commemorative Super Bowl XLVI cake.

The Gold Spike offers a Super Sunday buffet in the lounge, prize drawings and drink specials. The $8.95 wristband includes access to the all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a hot dog bar, chicken wings, chips and salsa and a free draft beer from 3-6 p.m. During the game, enjoy prize drawings and $2 PBR drafts. Prizes include tickets to the 2013 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

The 6500 Tavern at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza on W. Sahara hosts a party featuring two-for-one drink specials, half priced tapas and drawings for cash and NFL merchandise throughout the game. Designated drivers will receive complimentary soft drinks.

All Station Casino properties will offer $1 hot dogs and $1 Bud beer at their sports books.

Amigo’s Mexican Restaurant at Fiesta Henderson offers a Tacos and Tequila Tailgate for $29.99 for Boarding Pass rewards card holders. This includes all-you-can-eat and drink specials on Bud and Bud Light draft, Jose Cuervo Silver margaritas and shots, nacho and salsa bar, beef and chicken tacos, Cholula chicken wings, taquitos, beef and chicken fajitas, churros and sopapillas. Doors open at 2 p.m. and it will be first come, first served.

At The Railhead at Boulder Station opens at 2 p.m. and will take table reservations. Specials include $6 orders of wings, $5 sliders, $5 nachos, $3 hot dogs, $4 chili dogs, $2 chips, $4 cheese and pepperoni slices, $20 100 oz. Bud Light beer towers, $20 buckets of beer and $5 Cazadores shots and cocktails. Call 432-7777 for reservations.

The Lobby Bar at Green Valley Ranch offers up specials beginning at 1 p.m. including $25 all-you-can-eat tailgate food and drink specials. Enjoy prize giveaways from 3 until 6 p.m.

The Sports Book Lounge at Red Rock offers a $1,000 package for four, offered from noon until 8 p.m., featuring a bottle of Belvedere, a bottle of Jack Daniels, unlimited Bud Light beer, VIP tailgate food and a personal VIP attendant. Call 797-7518 for reservations.

At Sunset Station, four bars will offer $20 all-you-can-eat and drink specials beginning at 2 p.m. Enjoy this special at Gaudi, Rosalita’s Bullfighter’s and Kingpin.

Society Café’s chef Kim Canteenwalla has prepared a big game menu featuring Yukon Gold potato chips with onion dip, pretzels with Wisconsin cheese fondue, sliders, beef minidogs, mac ‘n cheese bites, filet mignon sandwiches, reuben potstickers and warm donut bites for dessert. The food spread is $95 per person and guests can enjoy bottle service and drink specials as well. For reservations, please call 248-3463.

Cabo at Palace Station offers a $20 all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet, $5 pitchers of domestic draft and $2 shot specials with every score.

Blitzed Sports Bar and Lounge at the Hard Rock will show the game on its 23 flat screens and will offer $5 hot dogs and bratwursts, $5 nachos, $5 sliders, $5 hero sandwiches, $2 chips and popcorn and a $10 blood mary bar.

The Joint at the Hard Rock offers a $49 package including access to buffet stations and a six-bottle bucket of beer while the game plays on a bug screen atop the concert stage.

Check out “Sexy Sunday” at Crazy Horse III where guests can enjoy snacks and a first quarter open bar for $30. Locals can enjoy half priced drinks following the open bar. Adult film star Tabitha Hendrix will host the party.

Holsteins at The Cosmopolitan offers two specialty burgers during the game. The Big Apple burger features mozzarella, roast tomato and pepperoni served on pizza focaccia with garlic aoli. The Patriot burger features New England clam strip, slaw, tomato and Louis dressing.

LBS at Red Rock offers a $20 drink to drown special for an hour before kick-off. The deal includes a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last. Like its sister property Holsteins, LBS will be offering the Big Apple and Patriot burgers.

Cabo Wabo offers a $55 all-you-can-eat buffet featuring wings, hot dogs and build you own taco and nacho bar. For $155, patrons can enjoy this plus all-you-can-drink wells and draft beer. Guests can also enjoy Coors Light giveaways and an appearance from the Benchwarmer girls.

Gilley’s at Treasure Island offers a $99 all-you-can-eat and drink package including well drinks and draft beer plus hot dogs, sliders, nachos, chili, chicken wings, popcorn and a variety of desserts.

Fleming’s in Summerlin offers a $29.99 three-course prime rib dinner for the carnivorous fan. The 5 for 6 ‘til 7 bar menu will also be offered featuring five premium cocktails, five wines by the glass and five signature appetizers, all priced at $6.

Brand Steakhouse at Monte Carlo offers personal Heineken kegs and a variety of appetizers for $200, beginning at 2 p.m.

PBR Rock Bar and Grill offers drink packages starting at $100 including an open bar of domestic drafts and well drinks. Guests can ensure a seat for the game with a $200 minimum food and beverage spend.

The Rampart in Summerlin offers $15 all-you-can-eat wristbands ($30 for those without a Rampart Rewards card). Food options include BBQ beef and chicken, meatballs, Italian sausage, subs, hot dogs and nachos.

Due Forni Pizza and Wine in Summerlin celebrates with the Foodie Bowl featuring turkey meatball sliders, oven roasted lamb lollipops and drink specials including $5 wine and all-you-can-drink Peroni for $20.

Rhumbar will offer a party on its patio for $150. Drink specials include the Rhumbar bloody mary and food options include jalapeño cheese hot links, nachos and hotdogs.

d.vino at Monte Carlo offers food specials like Italian meatballs, stuffed zucchini and fried calamari while the game airs in the bar area.

Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria and Cucina inside Crystals offers happy hour specials during the big game, including sweet peppers with herbed goat cheese filling, sourdough fritti with parmesan and spinach and grilled pork belly. Drink specials include, wine, sangria and draft beer. Each item is priced at $7 or less.

InsertCoin(s) Videolounge Gamebar offers a $30 package which includes a bucket of beer plus all-you-can-eat sliders from Slidin’ Thru. The party starts at 2 p.m.

The Lounge at The Palms offers a tailgate buffet including buffalo wings, BBQ pork sliders and Philly cheesesteaks plus drink specials including $3 Miller Lite drafts and $2 Jager shots. The viewing party begins at 1 p.m. and is free; drinks and food are priced a la carte.

Lavo celebrates game day with the Lavo Bowl featuring an Italian buffet and open bar for $175 served from 2 until 5 p.m.

New to Town Square, Coconuts offers an all-you-can-eat and drink package featuring burgers, hot dogs, wings, taquitos, a nacho bar, well and call drinks, premium and domestic beer plus house margaritas. UNLV students can show their student IDs for $5 off admission. Call 823-5051 for reservations.

Hofbrauhaus celebrates with a special menu featuring fish and chips, Buffalo chicken wings, football-shaped meatballs, a bratwurst patty sandwich and German potato pancakes.
