The Weekly’s Neon Reverb Showcase Even if we weren’t involved, we’d be at Beauty Bar early to grab a good spot for this one. Spencer Krug’s Moonface will be in the house, er, on the back patio, along with local favorite A Crowd of Small Adventures, East/West Coast duo Foxygen and Denver’s The Knew. If you care about your ears, you’ll be there, too. September 15, 9 p.m., $10.

Silversun Pickups Stop romanticizing the days when rock music really rocked, and go catch an LA quartet that undeniably does. Be sure to get there for the openers. With School of Seven Bells, Atlas Genius, September 14, 8 p.m., $26, the Joint.

Adam Ant If you only remember the Brit from ’80s hit “Goody Two Shoes,” find a copy of 1979’s Dirk Wears White Sox. Then go to the box office. With Brothers of Brazil, September 14, 8 p.m., $28-$33, Hard Rock Cafe (Strip).

Adam Ant plays with Brothers of Brazil at the Hard Rock Cafe September 14.

Fiona Apple Given the glowing reviews her new album and current tour have received, we were a little surprised to see good floor seats still available at press time. But hey, that’s great news for you. With Blake Mills, September 15, 8 p.m., $26-$61, the Joint.

See

Boardwalk Empire Jimmy Darmody might be gone, but with some promising cast additions—James Cromwell, Stephen Root, Bobby Cannavale—HBO’s period gangster series should remain one of the best shows on TV. It’s back September 16. Sundays, 9 p.m., HBO.

Glee Gleeks have been waiting months to see where Kurt ends up, how Rachel fares in NYC and which freshmen get added to the New Directions. Not excited? Maybe this season’s cast additions (Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson) will sell you on the season premiere. September 13, 9 p.m., FOX.

Eat

San Gennaro Feast If it seems the Italian festival of amusement rides, entertainment and tons of food known as San Gennaro is always happening, it is. This time the six-day fall event is at the Silverton, having kicked off Tuesday. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sausage and peppers left. Through September 16, $9.

Drink

Wine Amplified It’s a wine tasting, meets a concert, meets a food festival. It’s Rock ’N Roll wine’s annual party, starring Young the Giant, Mandalay Bay chefs and 150 wines from 50 wineries. Bring your taxi money. September 15, 7 p.m., $65, Mandalay Bay Beach.
