For Las Vegas sisters Kelley Nemiro and Victoria Fertitta of WilsonGabrielle, fashion has always been part of the family business. “Our family members were fashion icons,” Fertitta says.
After starting a blog to empower women through fashion, the two have now launched their first-ever luxury collection. The line features three pairs of denim pants, a crop T-shirt and a pair of sweatpants.
Like most women, Nemiro and Fertitta have their own personal styles, so they created the line to be versatile. “We want anyone who buys our clothing to style however they want,” Nemiro says. Each of the items in the line is named after an influential woman in their lives. “The Jill,” for example, is named for their mother, their fashion role model.
“We wanted to make sure we pay tribute to those who inspire us women to chase after our dreams,” Fertitta says. Their blog carries that same sentiment.
The sisters say they want to “elevate denim.” “It’s such a big piece of our lifestyle,” Fertitta said. “Going to school and traveling, [denim] is part of our everyday life. It’s something that works for everyone.”
