A former dancer in Lido de Paris at the Stardust, Crazy Girls at the Riviera and several other iconic Las Vegas productions, Angela Stabile is co-creator and co-producer of the now 17-year-old X Burlesque topless revue at the Flamingo and she’s our guest for this landmark 25th episode of the All The Vegas podcast.

Along with her husband and business partner Matt Stabile, Angela also runs the X Rocks and X Country shows and produces the popular Piff the Magic Dragon magic and comedy favorite, which takes place in the same Flamingo showroom that was recently renamed for X Burlesque. Her original show was also just renewed for another five years, further elevating it as one of the all-time most popular topless shows on the Strip.

We also talk with Angela about her days as a dancer and not telling her mother about her first Vegas gig in Minsky’s Burlesque; how show business is a shared passion in her family; a behind-the-scenes look at the casting and creative process for her shows; what it’s like to collaborate with a magical dragon; the rise of male revues in Las Vegas and whether she should work with us on a new X-Men superhero-themed show; and whether Vegas is ready for an updated take on the classic showgirl-based productions of the past.

EPISODE 25: THE VEGAS YOU NEED

One of Angela’s all-time favorite Vegas restaurants is Piero’s. You can find her making the scene in the A Room.

Mark is becoming a bigger sneaker head all the time and the Urban Necessities store at the Fashion Show mall gets the blame.

Brock’s new show obsession is Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox Hideaway at 1 OAK at the Mirage.
