Brent Barrett has entertained millions from the Broadway stage, on the West End, on television and in concert halls around the world. He most recently reprised the role of Billy Flynn in Chicago – The Musical and is also known for starring in Annie Get Your Gun, Grand Hotel and Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular.
You can catch Barrett’s next performance for free at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, when he teams with Las Vegas composer and producer Keith Thompson for a "Virtual Cabaret," including some of Broadway’s biggest hits via livestream on StageIt. Donations from the show will go to Golden Rainbow to provide critically needed services and financial assistance to men, women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.
The show will be broadcast from the Vegas Room, a new event space in the Commercial Center that recently launched an ongoing live music series called Cabaret at the Vegas Room. Like many other local entertainment events, the series is looking to go online during the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent shutdown of casino resorts and showrooms across Southern Nevada and the rest of the country.
