Renowned illusionist and longtime Las Vegas headliner Criss Angel is set to reopen his resident show Mindfreak at the Criss Angel Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort on July 7.

The show has been shuttered since March 2020. Its reopening schedule calls for five performances weekly, at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, and tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster or crissangel.com.

“After a long hiatus, I’m ecstatic to be back on stage … to give audiences a visual feast, overwhelming their senses, and provide guests with the ultimate escape on the Las Vegas Strip again,” Angel said in a statement. “We’re ready to welcome back my loyal fans who made Mindfreak one of the most popular shows in the Entertainment Capital of the World.”

Mindfreak was also the name of Angel’s TV series that aired on A&E for five years. The production show opened at Planet Hollywood in December 2018 in the resort’s mezzanine-level, 1,100-capacity theater after a multi-million-dollar renovation to its visual and audio systems. Angel produces and directs with Base Entertainment serving as co-producers.

“We’re eager to welcome Mindfreak back to the stage this summer at Planet Hollywood,” said Jason Gastwirth, president of entertainment for Caesars Entertainment. “Criss Angel, along with his talented cast and crew, is the thrilling energy that audiences have missed this past year, and we are happy to see its return.”
