Jersey Shore star Pauly D has no shortage of female admirers, and now the DJ and reality TV star phenomenon is headed to Las Vegas for a Valentine’s Day weekend date. Paul DelVecchio has teamed with the Palms for a contest that matches him with one lucky girl who’ll get the ultimate romance and roses treatment.

Fans know Pauly always causes a commotion with his pickup lines. Now the tables are turned, and the girls have to create the best pickup line to tickle his fancy. What pickup line would you use to impress Pauly D? Ladies have until tomorrow to “like” Moon’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/MoonNightclubLV), comment on his artwork and attract his attention with a flirtatious line. Pauly will select the winner.

The date includes dinner at Chef Geno Bernardo’s Nove Italiano, VIP access to Moon and The Playboy Club, a shampoo treatment and styling at Michael Boychuck’s Primp Salon and a tanning session in the Pauly D tanning bed at Sunset Tan. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Super Bowl XLV parties

Once again, Las Vegas proved that it’s the most exciting sports gaming paradise on Earth for Super Bowl XLV weekend. Dallas had The Big Game live, but the action here outscored the competition.

More than 700 crazed football fans turned up at celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse’s sports bar at the Palazzo and were treated to a surprise halftime wedding! Fans were decked out in their favorite Steelers and Packers team colors to catch the action on the 120 flat screen TVs. James Beard Award-winning Chef Thomas Keller of Bouchon and his Executive Chef Mark Hopper watched the game with ESPN personality “Hammerin’ ” Hank Goldberg, but it wasn’t losing bets that brought tears to the eyes of football’s faithful. It was the wedding of Mike Ferrara and Dixie Stiles at halftime.

“We thought it would be cool! We are both huge football fans, and we love Lagasse’s Stadium,” Dixie said. “I can't believe no one has done this before!” After visiting Lagasse’s Stadium in August, the two sports fanatics loved the venue and decided to exchange their vows on the NFL’s biggest day. “It was Dixie’s idea!” Mike said. “A woman who wants to marry me on the biggest sports day of the year, what more could I ask for? And I’ll never forget the date for the rest of my life!”

NFL stars Jamaal Charles and Earl Thomas hosted the Bikini Bowl at Eva Longoria’s Beso and Eve in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter walking the red carpet with Bikini Bowl models. Baltimore Ravens cornerback Danny Gorrer also was there.

2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Underwood and February 2010 Playmate of the Month Heather Rae hosted the Super Sunday party at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile and were joined by Playboy model Jessica Hall.

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez watched the Super Bowl at Republic Kitchen and Bar while dining on lobster pot pie and finishing with fried peanut butter and jelly for dessert with owner Jeff Kovatch and Executive Chef Josh Green.

Before jetting back from Dallas, I enjoy the Super Bowl excitement at the Playboy party, which had no less than 70 stars and athletes in the crowd marveling at the re-created The Playboy Club at the Palms with a bevy of Bunnies led by our own Lindsay Roper. Among the party people: Aubrey O’Day, Chris Harrison, Flo Rida, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Kyle Busch, Phil Hellmuth, Ryan Cabrera, NFL stars from 20 teams and cast members of True Blood, The Office, Weeds, Parenthood and Glee.

The other monstrous celebrity party was DirecTV’s Celebrity Bowl under a giant tent with Usher, Josh Duhamel, Chace Crawford, Jessica Lowndes, Hayden Panettiere and Alex Rodriguez. Peepshow and Holly’s World star Holly Madison, co-star Laura Croft and Bridget Marquardt partied at the Leather & Laces party.

  • As the singer approaches 50, his vocals remain a high point, his mix of throaty growls and raspy screams sounding near-perfect.

  • He’s done acid in Las Vegas, which he calls “a bad life decision.”

  • "There’s no way we could cover everything we have. It would have to be a three-and-a-half-hour show."
