2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih wasted no time nor minced words about her wrestling and partying activities during her year’s reign when she returned home to Detroit after the 2011 Miss USA Pageant this past weekend. She told local radio DJs that it wasn’t her idea to wrestle on the reality TV series Tough Enough, but she had to go up against 11 MMA fighters because the Miss USA Organization wanted the publicity. Rima told me last week before she handed the crown over to 2011 Miss USA Alyssa Campanella that she fractured her ribs, injured her spine and scratched her legs during fighting.

Rima also said pageant officials stirred the pot over rumors of her wild partying before she flew out to Las Vegas. “I thought they’d protect me better than that, but they wanted the story out there so I could go out with a bang. But I’d just flown in from a trip to Spain and had two days to pack up my apartment. I believe I was the hardest-working Miss USA, but Mr. Trump said no media is bad media. There were a lot of things that went out of hand, and I don’t appreciate that. The only thing I am addicted to is fresh orange juice with the pulp,” she said on air.

Rima says she sets out on the next step of her Hollywood career with meetings at Warner Bros. in L.A. on July 5 after a July 4 pool hosting weekend here with Evander Holyfield.
