After her nightly Peepshow performances at Planet Hollywood, electronic dance music fan Holly Madison attended all three nights of the Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, two of them with her Playboy pal Jenny McCarthy.

Both blondes wore flower child fashions, with Jenny in a pink tutu-type dress with flowers, while Holly had daisies woven through her hair. They had the best views from the VIP stage hosted by XS at the Encore and Marquee at the Cosmopolitan. There were more than 40,000 festivalgoers at just one of EDC’s six stages at one point of Holly and Jenny’s visits.

Also at EDC, New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush showing little effect from the NFL lockout as a midnight visitor at EDC. Incidentally, I’ve been hearing rumors that there’s a five-year renewal deal for EDC here already being discussed because of its relatively trouble-free and huge success. Also hearing that some helicopter companies made as many as 25 trips a day back and forth at $3,000 per ride during the three days.

*Boxing legend Mike Tyson renewed his wedding vows with wife Lakiha Spicer at M Resort over the weekend, and their reception was made even sweeter by Sugar Factory with a decadent candy bar set up for guests. The custom mobile confectionary bar featured gummy bears, Sour Patch Kids, cherry rock candy, gumballs and more. Gourmet chocolate-dipped cherries in milk white and dark chocolate were served, and guests received a goodie bag with logo chocolate bars, T-shirts and a whirly pop.

*Celebrity fitness guru David Barton, who has six East Coast luxury gyms, is marching westward for the first time. Last night over cocktails at Kerry Simon’s restaurant in Palms Place, he told that me he’ll open one here in the fall and four more to follow in California, with the first in Santa Monica before December. The gym here is a 35,000-square-foot venue at Tivoli Village. Knowing his facilities, the fitness centers are similar to ultra lounges set up with low lighting to make you feel in the mood and never want to leave.

  • The Las Vegas debut of the Ohio-bred indie band was filled with dynamic arrangements, entertaining anecdotes—and, surprisingly, lots of attendees.

  • At this point, the only constant from album to album is the band’s dedication to ambition.
