Step aside, Coachella: Henderson will get a music festival of its own this month. The Gold Mine Tavern will host the inaugural Hendertucky Music Festival on Saturday, April 20, featuring a lineup of 10 local bands as well as local artists, food, drinks and vendors.

The free festival will run rain or shine from noon to midnight at the Gold Mine Tavern and in the surround Water Street District Area. The festival is open to attendees aged 21 and over.

The venue has built a name for itself over the past three years hosting live music by local acts on weekends, and recently underwent a renovation through a grant from the city of Henderson.

The full lineup of local acts, featuring predominantly alt rock and hip-hop, is as follows:

American Cream

Play for Keeps

Oneness Vibe

Stoney Curtis Band

The Roxy Gunn Project
